Effective method

  • Wake up in the morning, when IOP is usually high, to check for changes in IOP.
  • Take regular measurements in the afternoon when you are more active to see how your IOP has changed.
  • Check your IOP reading before bed in the evening and compare it to your morning reading.
  • If you engage in behaviors that put a strain on your body, such as exercising, drinking, or smoking, be sure to measure your IOP so that you can reduce the amount of exercise and habits that are inappropriate for your IOP.
  • You may experience irregular changes in your IOP after taking herbal or western medications, which can help you avoid prescriptions that are not appropriate for you.
  • If you notice a drastic change from your usual IOP reading, visit your doctor right away to get proper care.
  • Keeping a record of your usual eye pressure readings and showing them to your doctor at your appointment can help them make a more accurate diagnosis.
  • TONO•i will take at least 3 repeat measurements to confirm your current reading.
